studioo was formed in 2020...

...as a result of the CoViD-19 pandemic.

the journey

Like most of us, I was stuck at home during the 2020 pandemic. I cancelled my gym membership and founded my mini studio here in my flat in Liverpool.  But exercise alone was not much fun.

As a certified personal trainer, I started doing fitness classes informally for friends and family, and formally for my full time work and for charities. I also took on a few personal training clients.

In 2021, I decided to open my mini studio to public.

the philosophy

... is movement for all, even if you hate exercise. Just move. It's often a good first step to your fitness journey, wherever that journey might lead. I aim to offer something for everyone. :)

Studio.o. is all inclusive, LGBTQI+ friendly and body+positive. You do have to pay but I aim to offer free monthly classes for those who can't afford it. (You can even sponsor a place for someone who needs it. ) More about this coming soon.

studioo is ideal for those who want to move in the comfort, flexibility and privacy of their own space whilst being connected to others.

an arthouse studioo

I am an actor, performer and director so art and music is a big part of who I am.

studioo reflects colours, images, sounds, shapes I enjoy, some of which I created. :)

the giant "madama butterfly" poster is currently featured at studioo. Puccini's music and this particular opera of hope and dreams inspire me in all aspects of my life (even in exercise).

I invite non-traditional images, sounds, shapes to inform a more creative environment for fitness and exercise.

Onur consistently delivers engaging and motivating workouts that cater to a wide range of abilities. Despite the challenges of Covid, we were able to get together on a zoom call and complete a comprehensive set of routines.

The sessions were fun and energising and clearly demonstrated Onur's expertise in physical training. He explained the importance of balance and good form and really helped us activate our bodies. I can highly recommend Onur to anyone who wants support to progress their health and wellness in 2021 and beyond.

I had a hip replacement earlier this year. Once discharged I was given exercises to do by the physio but I asked Onur's advice as I wasn't sure what they were all about. He explained the rationale behind them always mindful of the hospital guidance. Onur continued to support me after the operation - as well as giving physical advice and tips he gave me emotional encouragement too. If I was experiencing pain he was able to explain what the cause might be thus reassuring me.

There is no doubt that Onur played a big role in my rehabilitation. His professional and gentle yet firm guidance was always welcomed and I know my progress and mobility has been considerably enhanced as a result of his input.
